“Stay with me.”

Lundy: Trinity is likely someone who has gone his own solitary way through life, so preoccupied with his own obsessions that he’s forgone all but the most ruidmentary of human connections.
Dexter: …A lone wolf.
Lundy: Exactly. It’s a little bit disturbing.
Dexter: Hah, yeah.
Lundy: I mean, I could just as well be talking about myself. Sure I’ve been married, was married…for 29 years, happily. But even so, the only thing that really got my heart beating was the hunt. I’m sure you can’t relate.
Dexter: Uh…no, sorry.
Lundy: And here I am at sixty watching dummies fly off a roof. Still on the hunt.
Dexter: Sounds like Trinity is worthy prey.
Lundy: …What’s really got me intruiged is the notion that he’s returned to Miami.
Dexter: He’s come home.
Lundy: I’m not sure home is the right word…people like us don’t really belong anywhere. We just…pass through.
Dexter 4x03, “Blinded By The Light”
The hunter and the hunted…not so different after all.

Day Twenty Two - Favorite of Deb’s boyfriends: FRANK LUNDY
I realize it was a bit awkward at first, but honestly guys, when have you ever seen Deb more in her element? They were fantastic together, daddy issues aside. Or maybe that’s why they worked. Thing is, he is one of the few people that could ever calm her nerves. And he understood her completely, giving her the respect and the care she needed. It also proves that age doesn’t always matter. Ugh, I’m just so upset he’s gone. :/
