who is slacktides?

Hey, you! Nice to see you stumble upon my tumblr. My name is Gracie. I’m 19 years old, from Virginia.

The basics: I am a college junior at the College of William and Mary, majoring in neuroscience, with aspirations to be a child psychiatrist because I love kids more than anything. Mental retardation/Asperger’s is an area of serious interest for me and supporting the cause for the MR to be treated well by society is something I’m very passionate about. I think too much, I’m an idealist, I like to listen, I’m very anxious, I always forgive but never forget, I require ample amounts of solitude, and I have an aversion to change and conflict. I hardly sleep even though it nearly kills me, and hate it when every day I wake up but still can’t teleport. I’m addicted to twitter, tumblr, and I schedule my life around my tv lineup. I say I hate people sometimes but that’s only because I hate being surrounded and subjected to people I don’t know - 99% of the time when I get to know a person I find a way to like them. I’m a ray of positive sunshine (most of the time) so you can keep your negativity away from me because lbr I don’t wanna hear it :-)

Most of my personal stuff is on a different blog (although you still may find some here), so drop me a message if you want that link. That being said, this blog is pop culture (tv and movies and music) oriented.

(Also, WARNING: I also have a dire Michael C. Hall situation. He is a huge inspiration to me and has had an enormous impact on my life, he is literally my idol. In any case, this situation has been wildly rampant for about three years now, so yeah that’s not going anywhere soon. Not that you all mind, that’s probably what you’re here for anyways, no? )
